       在没有做屏蔽的情况下,我们的电子设备会受到直击雷或间接雷等强电磁干扰源的影响导致设备无法工作或工作出现异常,最严重时出现损坏,这是比较常见的电磁干扰显现,另外一种现象就是,我们在打雷的时候听收音机,看电视,使用电脑,收音机会出现“吱啦”的噪音,电视机,电脑会出现图像抖动等等,这些都是雷电产生的干扰造成的电磁干扰。

      计算机、通信机及电子设备在正常工作时会产生一定强度的电磁波,该电磁波可能会对其它设备产生干扰或被专用设备所接收,以窃取其工作内容。同时,这些电子设备也需要在小于一定强度的电磁环境下保证其正常工作。

      屏蔽暗室种类有多种,如全电波暗室、半电波暗室、还有一些为满足测试要求而设计的其他类型暗室。虽然不同暗室的测试项目不同,但一般均包括外壳屏蔽壳体、外壳内壁结合一层吸波材料层、假墙、暗室门、安装在暗室内的被测设备的转台及其支撑装置、天线支架系统、通风照明设备、滤波器、接地、安全及电气装置,测量仪器以及用于与测量仪器相连的接口板。通信设备的辐射杂散骚扰度测试和辐射骚扰抗扰度测试等电磁兼容测试项目一般在全电波暗室进行。全电波暗室一般设计为矩形,是为了保证在高频测试(如40GHz)中仍能保证其很好的性能。

      电波暗室的经典净尺寸:9m×6m×6m(3米法):用于射频抗扰度及发射测试尺寸在2m以下的产品,是国际上普遍采用的代替开阔场的实验场地;11m×7m×9m(5米法):性能在较宽范围内都比3m法电波暗室优越,且与10m法的换算修正关系较之3m法对10m法的换算修正关系更优越。可以测试较大体积的EUT;19m×12m×9m(10米法):用于射频抗扰度及发射测试,适用于体积较大的产品。

      通俗来说,屏蔽室只是一个大铁箱子,把外界的电磁信号进行隔离;而暗室不仅有屏蔽室的功能而且内部贴了铁氧体、辟尖等吸波材料,为的是模拟空旷场地的环境。暗室比屏蔽室贵很多就是贵在暗室内贴的这些材料上面。  

      对实验环境要求不高的测试比如说传导骚扰、静电测试、浪涌测试、雷击测试等都是通过电源线上进行的,所以只需要在屏蔽室内进行就够了;而对于空间辐射、空间骚扰通过空间传播的骚扰或者是抗干扰则对空间有特殊要求,因此需要在暗室内进行,模拟空旷场地的空间。
